Knowaste, LLC began as a live-action sorting demonstration at the Downtown Growers Market in Albuquerque in 2010. Since then, we’ve passionately pursued our mission to educate New Mexicans about costly consequences of consumption and the available waste reduction options.
Today, Knowaste offers systems design solutions that integrate all elements of the recycling process.
Throwing resources away is a problem we solve with people and tools that are smart, stylish and efficient. Our elegant designs bridge gaps in both infrastructure and operations, incrementally and persistently eliminating everyday habits of wastefulness.
How we help you turn trash into renewable resources:
1) Don’t fear food waste.
We separate and process compostable waste safely and efficiently.
2) Make recycling matter!
We improve public access to smart, well-designed sorting stations.
3) Reduce ‘contaminated’ recyclables.
We increase sort quality and thus the value of materials redeemed.
4) Return on investment.
We provide detailed periodic reports to help you analyze your direct and indirect returns on materials and marketing.
